ABOUT ME
I am a Brazilian artist, trained as an actor at the University of São Paulo’s School of Dramatic Arts — EAD/ECA-USP. I am currently continuing my artistic education through a Bachelor of Film at JMC Academy in Sydney, Australia.
Since childhood, I have approached cameras with curiosity and intuition. I enjoyed exploring unusual angles, playing with different perspectives, and creating funny, strange, or unexpected images. It was during this time that I began to understand image-making as a living field of choices. This realisation helped me recognise that the human gaze — including my own — is only one of many possible ways of seeing. What fascinates me most is precisely this possibility: not only to project my point of view, but to continually transform it. After all, cinema takes shape through the meeting of different ways of seeing and perspectives. Through this exchange, I find new ways of perceiving and being in the world.
Drawing on my training as an actor, I began to investigate how the body, movement, and emotion can connect, create tension, and shift within the construction of a visual narrative.
In 2020, I began working more extensively in audiovisual production and, the following year, co-founded the independent production company MALĪ. During this period, I worked as a freelancer across a range of projects, including social media content, music videos, documentaries, short films, and feature films. I also worked in the audiovisual department at São Paulo Companhia de Dança, contributing to the production of photographs and videos.
For me, audiovisual creation is a space of discovery and exchange, where image and narrative intertwine to create new ways of feeling and listening to the world. In cinema, I find a space to explore the intimate and the collective. Each project becomes an opportunity for reinvention, an attempt to capture in images both what can be seen and what resonates beneath the visible.

viniô is a brand I created in 2022 to sign the visual work I have been developing since 2015. It reflects my ongoing artistic journey. Its name comes from a nickname of mine, a shortened form of my own name, and gives shape to a perspective that expands through encounters with other ways of seeing.
For me, cinema and image-making are living processes. Each creation is an opportunity to explore distinctive qualities and, above all, to create together. It emerges from an exchange between people, ideas, and sensibilities, taking shape in images that reveal something of that encounter.
